Your child is invited to join our new and exciting program – Money School, an engaging and educational program that prepares students for a lifetime of financial wellness. It’s empowering to make smart choices with money, the results of which can make a major difference in life. Sometimes however, it takes a little education to know what’s financially savvy – and what’s not. We have several features to engage, educate and excite children to want to learn more about how they can be successful with their finances today and in years to come.

Banzai! is a virtual online-world where children learn valuable financial knowledge through real-life scenarios and activities! Kids learn more when they’re having fun and students become like a sponge, soaking up important lessons through blogs, quests, and earning real-life rewards!
Country Bank team members throughout our markets will offer age-appropriate in-classroom teaching upon request. These classes allow us to support our 40+ partner schools to help educate on the importance of being financially fit at an early age. We began this program in the Fall of 2023 with a streamlined process for requesting classes and a curriculum outline of courses available.

As a student, balancing school, work, and everything else, you’ve got a busy schedule. It’s why we created this free and simple student checking account that goes wherever you go. Plus, receive $25* when you open an account.

CHOICE SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Sometimes a hands-on approach is the best way to teach a skill. While the Greenlight account has great tools that introduce concepts around money, the Choice Savings account is ideal for larger, long-term savings goals that can follow students into young adulthood and beyond.

Looking to earn a higher rate for college education or other expenses as your child turns 18? Consider a CD which typically pays a higher rate of interest for a fixed period of time you choose. Varying terms are available with a $500 minimum to open.
